Updated Dennis Condo

We recently had the delight of renovating a dated kitchen in a Dennis Port condo into a dazzling, modern space. When we first laid eyes on the sleepy, pink-hued room, it felt like a time warp back to 1987. The dull linoleum floors, pink washed cabinetry, and laminate countertops cried out for a face lift. While the kitchen likely felt flashy at the time it was installed, it had definitely lost its luster over the years.

Armed with a vision for sleek, contemporary styling, we ripped out the tired old cabinets, counters, and half-wall adjoining the fridge. By opening up that dividing wall, we gained precious extra inches in the footprint. We then extended the cabinetry in a U-shape around the right wall for seriously amplified storage. Crisp recessed lighting and a new ceiling fan gave the space an airy, bright feel. We said goodbye to the outdated pink and hello to crisp white cabinetry and neutral countertops. The aluminum strips in the backsplash wink at the linear, geometric cabinet hardware, while the beveled countertop edges echo the doors’ beveled inset.

When we unveiled the kitchen’s sophisticated new look, the customer was utterly ecstatic. The once lackluster room was now a bright, modern showpiece brimming with storage and style. We couldn’t have asked for a better reaction to all our hard work
